FAQ · Ownership & files

Who owns what DriftLess makes?

The files are yours to keep: use a GitHub repository you control or download a zip when you are ready.

DriftLess is a calm workspace: you describe what you need, DriftLess prepares the files, checks the result, and you decide when to hand a version off.

When you use Send to GitHub, commits land in a repository tied to your GitHub identity. When you use Download files, you get a zip based on the saved files for that version.

DriftLess does not position itself as your long-term production host. Shareable preview URLs exist so people can review a checked version; customer-facing traffic on your own domain runs from the host you choose after export.
