Terms of service

DriftLess helps makers answer a guided brief, review and improve a private website, publish deliberately, and optionally add selling. It shows progress, keeps earlier versions, and uses included credits by default, with optional advanced setup on eligible accounts.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Direct AI billing is available on Studio and platform-admin accounts. When you choose to use your own AI account, you provide your own API keys, remain responsible for those provider costs, and DriftLess encrypts your keys at rest.

You agree not to use DriftLess to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content; attempt to circumvent security measures; interfere with other users or the service; or violate any applicable laws. Anyone can report a published site through the Report a published DriftLess site option on our contact page. We may take a reported site offline while we investigate and reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of all content you create using DriftLess, including project plans, draft results, and code. DriftLess retains ownership of the service, its design, and its underlying technology. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content as needed to provide the service.

We aim to keep DriftLess available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. First Look features may change at any time.

DriftLess is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

DriftLess uses included credits as the default AI billing model. First Look refreshes 1,500 credits each cycle; unused First Look monthly credits are replaced at that refresh. The one-time signup bonus, verified paid monthly allocations, and purchased credit packs carry forward until used. Credit packs are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Unused purchased credit packs can be refunded within 14 days. Once any associated credits have been used, the pack is not eligible for that refund. Ordinary statutory rights remain unaffected.

The maker named on the website is the seller of the products or services shown there. The maker must provide truthful identity and legal information, use photographs and other material they have the right to use, and keep prices, availability, delivery, returns, and other customer promises accurate.

DriftLess generates, edits, and hosts the website. DriftLess is not the seller or merchant of record, does not take the buyer’s money, does not charge a transaction fee on maker sales, and does not manage maker orders, payouts, refunds, disputes, or chargebacks. DriftLess may reject an obviously fictional entry, but it does not check an official company register, verify the maker as a business, or perform merchant identity checks (KYB). DriftLess does not guarantee delivery.

Payment is completed through the maker’s own payment-link account with Stripe, Inflow, PayPal, or another provider. That provider handles the payment account, merchant identity checks, payment and refund processing, payment records, disputes, chargebacks, and payouts under its own terms. The maker remains responsible to the buyer for the sale, fulfilment, delivery, returns, and any refund obligation. For an order, delivery, return, or refund problem, the buyer must contact the maker using the email shown on the website first. For a payment dispute, the buyer must also use the contact or dispute instructions on the payment-provider receipt. DriftLess support cannot issue a refund for a maker sale.

If DriftLess learns that a published site is fraudulent, impersonates another person or business, or contains illegal content, DriftLess may unpublish it. Unpublishing is a hosting and safety action; it does not cancel a payment, issue a refund, decide a dispute, or resolve the sale.

You can cancel your account at any time from the Settings page. Maker subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the current billing period. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms with reasonable notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
