Replace placeholder content
Find and remove private-draft placeholders before public use.
Placeholders are useful during a private draft because they show structure. They become a risk when they reach customers, search engines, or AI answer engines as if they were real facts.
Checklist
- 1Scan headings, cards, forms, footer, policies, and metadata.
- 2Replace lorem ipsum, sample prices, fake addresses, and sample emails.
- 3Ask DriftLess for a placeholder cleanup pass if the draft is large.
- 4Run a final mobile review after replacement.
Keep in mind
- Do not leave example brands in metadata.
- Search engines can index placeholder text if a page is public.
- Keep a private draft private until this pass is complete.
