Complete the first-site intake

Understand how your answers shape the website and continue into later improvements.

Your brief gives DriftLess the facts and intent it needs: the work, audience, difference, desired feeling, visitor goal, available materials, and contact details. These answers stay with the project so you do not have to repeat them after every update.

Four core questions, then publication details

The four core screens ask for your maker or studio name, what you make, the visitor’s main goal and business path, then your logo or photographs and their rights. Five publication-detail groups follow: where you operate and sell, official identity, public legal contact, privacy practices, and applicable customer terms. A guest can complete this intake before creating an account.

  • Claim the private website with the same browser and account when you want to keep it.
  • Choose I need to check when you cannot yet confirm a publication detail. Do not invent a registration number, policy, price or delivery promise to continue.
  • Deferred legal, delivery, and product facts do not block the private preview; applicable missing facts still block publication.
  • Review the credit quote and final confirmation before starting generated work. Reading questions, correcting answers and reviewing the quote do not start a build.

Choose the real way people approach your work

The current ready-to-buy product path selects payment-link selling; commissions, made-to-order work and wholesale select enquiries. Appointments, classes and portfolio paths present the corresponding offer rather than inventing a Buy action. Check the customer path in Selling before publishing; these choices do not create a payment-provider account.

  • For a commission, explain what can be requested without inventing a fixed price.
  • If you do not have a payment link, you can keep reviewing privately and choose enquiries in Selling with the public email you monitor.

How to use this

  1. 1Use specific details about materials, methods, scale, or customer needs.
  2. 2Say why a reference feels right instead of asking DriftLess to copy it.
  3. 3Correct anything DriftLess misunderstood from Site details or the next guided question.
  4. 4Add operational facts only when you can confirm them.

Keep in mind

  • Your brief guides the result; it does not lock you into one template or visual direction.
  • You can keep the current direction, choose Change the look, or open Edit site in Studio.
