Can I use DriftLess for free?
Yes. The free plan includes 2,000 credits every month (~1 build). You can purchase one Launch credit pack (9.99 USD) per month for more hosted usage. Upgrade to Pro for 10,000 monthly credits and unlimited pack access.
What happens when I use all my included credits?
Buy a credit pack to keep building in hosted mode. Free accounts can buy 1 launch pack / month. Pro and Team can buy all packs without a monthly cap. If you need your own provider key, upgrade to Team.
What are Pro and Team?
Pro is $20/mo for individuals: 10,000 credits per month (~5 builds), hosted mode, up to 5 projects, and unlimited pack purchases. Team is $39/user/mo for organizations: 28,000 credits per user each month (~15 builds), shared workspace, optional provider keys, unlimited projects, and sales-assisted setup.
Why credits instead of a flat per-run price?
One visible build uses multiple model calls to plan, write, review, and check the result. Credits let DriftLess bundle that variability into one hosted balance with plan allowances and pack estimates instead of forcing you to price every provider call yourself.
How are credits counted?
In hosted mode, each successful DriftLess-managed model call settles a credit debit based on actual model usage plus platform overhead. Failed steps only settle the minimal failed-call cost after any earlier successful steps. One visible build often uses many calls, so packs are sized in credits and Settings shows approximate build ranges instead of per-click pricing.
Where are purchases, refunds, and terms?

Can I bring my own model key?
Yes on Team and platform-admin accounts. Use your own API keys from Anthropic, OpenAI, and others when you want direct provider billing or specific premium models.
Does Free include GitHub handoff?
Yes. On every plan, connect GitHub under Account and use Send to GitHub after a trusted build to open a pull request or push to your default branch. Repo-import onboarding that links a repository through the project GitHub sync API starts on Pro.
What happens when I run out of hosted credits?
Hosted mode pauses until the next monthly cycle or you top up with packs within your plan limits. Free accounts can buy 1 launch pack / month; Pro and Team can purchase packs without that cap. Team and platform-admin accounts can also use their own provider keys.
Which AI model does hosted mode use?
Hosted mode uses the current DriftLess-managed model stack. Operators can update hosted models without changing your workflow. If you need a specific premium model, use your own provider key on Team or a platform-admin account.
Can I switch between hosted credits and my own key?
Yes, on Team and platform-admin accounts. You can switch anytime from Settings, and your API keys and credit balance are preserved when you switch.
Do purchased credits expire?
No. Purchased credit packs never expire. Your included hosted allowance resets each calendar month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro is month-to-month with no commitment. Purchased credit packs remain yours after cancellation.
