Use Search Console after your production site is live.
Search Console helps you verify ownership, submit sitemaps, inspect indexing, and understand how Google sees public pages. It belongs to your production domain, not a temporary private preview.
How to use this
- 1Launch the production site on your domain.
- 2Verify the domain or URL prefix in Search Console.
- 3Submit the sitemap URL.
- 4Inspect important pages after launch and after major updates.
Keep in mind
- Indexing can take time.
- Do not submit private preview URLs as your main site.
- Fix page quality before repeatedly requesting indexing.
