Yes. First Look starts with 3,500 credits and no card required, enough to answer the brief and review a private website. You can purchase one Touch-Up Pack (9.99 USD) once if you want more room. Upgrade to Maker for publishing, more monthly credits, and all packs.
What happens when credits run low?
You can wait for your monthly refresh, buy an add-on pack, or split a larger request into smaller steps. First Look can buy one touch-up pack, once. Maker and Studio can buy all packs whenever they need more room.
What are Maker and Studio?
Maker is $24/mo for people improving and publishing a website over time: 11,000 credits/month, up to 5, priority help, and all add-on packs. Studio is $59/mo for busy makers, small studios, and launch seasons: 24,000 credits/month, more saved websites, shared workspace features where available, and guided setup.
What is a credit?
Credits measure DriftLess website work: planning, writing, building, and checking an update. A first website usually uses 900-1,500 credits, a small wording or style change may use 250-700, and bigger redesigns can use 1,500-2,500+.
Will I get surprise charges?
No. DriftLess uses your included credits first. If a request looks unusually large, we show a clear note before continuing, and purchased packs are explicit purchases.
Why do some changes use more credits?
A small wording edit is light. A full redesign asks DriftLess to rethink layout, copy, visuals, and quality checks, so it uses more work.
Where are purchases, refunds, and terms?

Can studios bring their own setup?
Yes on Studio and platform-admin accounts. Use advanced setup when your team wants a specific approved internal account.
Do I keep the finished work?
Yes. On every plan, you can keep the finished work when you are ready. Starting from existing files begins on Maker.
What happens when I use all my hosted help?
The simple hosted setup pauses until the next monthly cycle or you top up with packs within your plan limits. First Look accounts can buy one touch-up pack, once; Maker and Studio can purchase packs without that cap. Studio and platform-admin accounts can also use advanced setup.
Which setup does DriftLess use?
The included setup uses the current DriftLess-managed connection. DriftLess can update that setup without changing your workflow. If you need a specific advanced setup, use Studio or a platform-admin account.
Can I switch between included help and advanced setup?
Yes, on Studio and platform-admin accounts. You can switch anytime from Settings, and your account connection and hosted balance are preserved when you switch.
Do purchased add-on packs expire?
No. Purchased add-on packs never expire. Your included hosted allowance resets each calendar month.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Maker is month-to-month with no commitment. Purchased add-on packs remain yours after cancellation.
