What is the Self-hosted path?

It is an optional advanced GitHub handoff for makers who have technical help or manage their own hosting.

Choose Self-hosted path under Account → Projects, select an eligible finished website, connect GitHub, and send the website files to a private repository. Repeating the export updates the same repository.

The export contains the finished static website, not DriftLess account data, version history, editing controls, buyer data, or server-side selling infrastructure. Websites using Selling or payment links currently require DriftLess hosting and are not eligible for static export. Sending files to GitHub does not put them online; the repository owner manages external hosting and maintenance.
