Selling and payments
Enquiries, optional payment links, and who handles the sale.
- Does DriftLess take a transaction fee?
No. DriftLess adds no transaction fee; the maker’s payment provider may charge its own fees.
- How do customers pay from my website?
Choose enquiries or use an existing payment link; payment stays outside DriftLess.
- Can I use my existing payment provider?
Yes, when it gives you a secure HTTPS payment link for the product or offer.
- Can I use enquiries without a payment provider?
Yes. A website that invites people to write to you is a valid shop front.
- Who is the seller on a DriftLess website?
The maker named on the website is the seller; DriftLess generates, edits, and hosts the website.
- Who handles refunds and payment disputes?
The maker handles the sale and refund obligation; the maker’s provider processes the payment and dispute.
- Where should a buyer ask for order help?
Contact the maker first for the product, delivery, return, or refund; use the provider receipt for a payment dispute.
