Protect customer and payment data

Know what stays with the payment provider when a customer follows a maker-supplied link.

The chosen payment provider collects payment details on its own secure page. DriftLess does not receive card or bank credentials, automatic order status, or provider account access from a maker-supplied payment link.

How to use this

  1. 1Use customer details only to fulfill, support, or refund the relevant order.
  2. 2Never copy card or bank information into website content, support messages, or project answers.
  3. 3Keep account access and two-factor recovery information private.
  4. 4Describe the real providers and data practices in the maker’s privacy notice.

Keep in mind

  • Confirm payment and customer details in the provider account, not in DriftLess.
  • The maker’s privacy notice and the provider’s terms are the authoritative documents for customer payment data.
