When the private preview is not ready

Distinguish waiting, reloading an existing preview, cancelling work and recovering saved work.

A private preview can still be preparing or can stop before it is ready. Read the status before starting another attempt. A retained private website and the public website are separate from unfinished work; recovery should not be mistaken for publishing.

How to use this

  1. 1Read the current Studio status and wait if work is still active.
  2. 2Use Reload when an existing preview looks stale. Reload displays the saved result again; it does not request a new website.
  3. 3If you need to stop active work and Cancel is offered, request it and wait for acknowledgement. A pending cancellation is not yet a finished cancellation.
  4. 4Use Open last inspectable draft to inspect retained work. Recover from saved work can prepare a new version; review the offered scope and credit confirmation before starting.
  5. 5Avoid starting several identical attempts at once.
  6. 6Contact support with the project and visible error if the same state continues.

Keep in mind

  • Guest previews do not offer every signed-in Reload or Cancel control. Keep the same browser, wait for the current status, and claim the result when available.
  • Do not paste API keys, passwords, or payment details into a support request.
