Recover account access

Return to saved websites when a password, verification link, or sign-in method is causing trouble.

Use the recovery action that matches the account method. Password accounts can request a reset. Unverified email accounts can request another verification message. Linked sign-in providers should use the same provider originally connected to the account.

How to use this

  1. 1Open Sign in and choose the relevant recovery action.
  2. 2Check the email address attached to the account, including spam folders.
  3. 3Open only the most recent verification or reset link.
  4. 4Return to the intended project after signing in.
  5. 5Contact support without sharing passwords, recovery codes, or provider tokens if access still fails.

Keep in mind

  • Recovery links expire and older links may stop working after a newer request.
  • Two-factor recovery codes should be stored offline and used only once.
