Understand private drafts and public websites

Know exactly when work is visible only to the maker and when customers can visit it.

Onboarding answers, generated versions, previews, and saved edits remain private project work. Publishing creates or updates a separate customer-facing site. The public site does not expose Studio, account settings, prompts, or version history.

How to use this

  1. 1Use the private preview to review every version.
  2. 2Share customer-facing information only after confirming it.
  3. 3Choose Publish deliberately when the reviewed version should become public.
  4. 4Use My Sites to manage or take the public website offline.

Keep in mind

  • Saving and publishing are separate actions.
  • Treat any public URL as customer-visible even when it is not linked from social profiles yet.
