Check your website before publishing
Confirm the facts, photographs, links, mobile view, and customer action before going live.
Publishing puts the specific website version you reviewed online at its public DriftLess address. It does not approve business claims or supply missing products, prices, policies, delivery promises, or contact details. The maker remains responsible for everything customers will rely on.
Blockers, recommendations, and exact versions
A blocker is a fact or working customer path required before publication. A recommendation can improve the website but does not prevent publishing. Publish always rechecks the exact private version you reviewed.
- The five publication fact groups cover jurisdiction and markets, official identity, public legal contact, privacy practices, and applicable customer terms.
- “Not registered”, “not applicable”, and “I don’t have this yet” can be saved truthfully; an applicable missing fact still keeps the site private.
- Saving publication facts is free. If those facts need to appear in the website, DriftLess offers a separate scoped update and quote.
- Published sites use a current DriftLess address. Custom-domain setup is not part of the current maker flow.
- Taking a site offline stops public access without deleting the private project or its version history.
A demonstration is not a real shop
A demonstration is visibly labelled Not a real shop. It is not an alternative publishing option for makers with missing facts. A demonstration may illustrate enquiries but cannot publish live payment links or a real Buy action.
- A showcase example action explains the example; it does not send a message, make a booking or take a payment.
- For your own website, complete the applicable facts and customer path, then publish the exact version you reviewed. A polished preview is not legal approval or business verification.
Checklist
- 1Open every page and test navigation in both directions.
- 2Review computer and phone views.
- 3Confirm names, photographs, contact details, links, products, prices, and supplied policies.
- 4Publish only when you are comfortable letting customers use that version.
- 5Keep later changes private until you are ready to publish the update.

- Published websites appear under My Sites, where you can edit, view, manage selling, or take them offline.
