Understand website credits

See how DriftLess measures generation and improvement work without technical token language.

Credits measure the website work DriftLess performs: planning, writing, building, and checking a version. Small focused changes normally use less than a broad redesign because they require less work across the site.

Available, reserved and refreshing balances

Account → Billing shows Available now and credits reserved for active work. Reserved credits cannot fund another request at the same time. Open Where this balance comes from to see the different balances and their displayed refresh or allocation information.

  • First Look monthly credits refresh rather than accumulating unused monthly balances. Paid monthly credits and purchased packs remain until used; signup or promotional balances are shown separately.
  • A reservation is not necessarily the final charge. Wait for work to finish or cancellation to be acknowledged before treating that balance as available again.
  • For example, 800 available and 200 reserved means 800 can fund a new request now, not 1,000. An estimated number of refinements is not a guarantee of that many websites.
  • Manual edits, saving facts or media, and Free Style room do not spend generation credits. Buying credits is separate from paying for publishing.

How to use this

  1. 1Check the current balance in the app navigation or Account billing.
  2. 2Use a focused request when one part of the website needs to change.
  3. 3Review the quote and maximum charge, then give the final confirmation before generated work starts.
  4. 4Wait for the included allowance to refresh or buy an eligible pack when more work is needed.

Keep in mind

  • Purchased credit packs do not expire.
  • Credits do not unlock publishing; publishing depends on the plan.
