Recover account access
Return to saved websites when a password, verification link, or sign-in method is causing trouble.
Use the recovery action that matches the account method. Password accounts can request a reset. Unverified email accounts can request another verification message. Linked sign-in providers should use the same provider originally connected to the account.
Account, security, and data controls
Account settings cover profile name, email, timezone, notifications, sign-in methods, passkeys, two-factor recovery, active sessions, plans, credits, DriftLess billing history, project access, and eligible advanced model or self-hosted setup.
- Export account data before deletion when you need a copy.
- Deactivation suspends access without cancelling billing. Scheduled deletion has a 30-day cancellation window; financial records can require further retention review before completion.
- Use the normal recovery flow for lost access and never send passwords, recovery codes, or provider keys to support.
Choose the recovery that matches the problem
Use Forgot password for a password reset and open the newest message; reset links expire after one hour. For an unverified address, request a new verification email and check the correct inbox and spam folder. For a lost authenticator, use an unused recovery code through sign-in rather than sending the code to support.
- A deactivated account uses Reactivate account, which asks for email and password. If you only used a linked sign-in provider and have no password, use password recovery or contact support; the provider button alone is not the reactivation form.
- Signing into a claimed account is different from recovering an unfinished browser setup or expired guest website. Do not create another account to look for an existing project.
How to use this
- 1Open Sign in and choose the relevant recovery action.
- 2Check the email address attached to the account, including spam folders.
- 3Open only the most recent verification or reset link.
- 4Return to the intended project after signing in.
- 5Contact support without sharing passwords, recovery codes, or provider tokens if access still fails.
Keep in mind
- Recovery links expire and older links may stop working after a newer request.
- Two-factor recovery codes should be stored offline and used only once.
