One session, one feature, one review. Step four: Review against the goal, not the code. After every session, ask: does this still match day-one intent? If the answer is "yes, plus some extra stuff," you have drifted. Step five: Ship the first version that works, not the best version imaginable. The MVP that ships beats the perfect product that doesn't.
